RCDL is a private company limited by guarantee. It operates in the interest of a broad community and functions as a non-profit organisation. As a CIC it is not eligible for the UK Gift Aid Tax Scheme. The RCDL supports research, production and educational events related to the work of Sir Robert Cohan CBE. The licensing rights to Cohan's choreographic work are owned by the appointed trustee(s) of the estate and managed through the Sir Robert Cohan Arts Legacy L3C, a Vermont, USA based Limited Liability Corporation. RCDL and RCAL jointly administrate this website. All rights are reserved. Anthony Crickmay photography is used courtesy of the Abderrahim Crickmay Charitable Settlement and the Victoria & Albert Museum (London) which maintains all rights. The Victoria & Albert Museum also maintains a distinct archival collection for Sir Robert Cohan CBE as well archives for the London Contemporary Dance Trust and London Contemporary Dance Theatre.
